Devendra (‘Dave’) Kumar
Mr. Kumar is a graduate cum laude of Harvard Law School where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology. Prior to law school, Mr. Kumar attended Duke University, where he received a B.S.E. cum laude in electrical engineering, and Georgia Institute of Technology, where he received an M.S. in electrical engineering.
Mr. Kumar also worked as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark Office, where he examined patent applications in the field of telephone communications.
Prior to joining G2W2, Mr. Kumar was on the visiting faculty of the National Law School of India University in Bangalore, India, where he taught courses on telecommunications law and policy and competition law. Prior to that, from 2000-04, he was an associate in the communications, information technology, and intellectual property practice groups at Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Kumar is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association, serves on the board of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Washington, D.C., was formerly on the board of the South Asian Bar Association of Washington, D.C., and is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
